During the International Workshop (Lisbon, 7-9 December 2022), the DCbox partnership visits the Museu de Lisboa and learns about the actions the Museum is developing on cataloging, digitization, and development of innovative tools for fruition.
Led by Prof. Paulo Almeida Fernandes (Director of Research and Inventory) through a private tour, partners could receive thorough insights on how the Museum copes with artifacts digitisation, renovation of Museums’ spaces and classifications, inventory, reconstruction in 2D\3D model of old environments, engagement with different types of audience.
As part of this experience, DCbox was in contact with important stakeholders: the Museu da Lourinhã, Centro de Estudos Históricos da Lourinhã, Aspiring Geopark Oeste and Museu Bordalo Pinheiro, which are associate partners of the Erasums+ DCbox project.
