On the 20th of July, the DCbox Open Hackathon took place at @dicea_univpm, Ancona (Italy). Talented students gathered to present their digital prototypes for museums, showcasing the potential of Digital Heritage.
The prototypes demonstrated a range of ideas, from applications to innovative gaming solutions, with a focus on making a positive impact in the Digital Heritage field.
During the Demo Session the importance of engaging people with new tools was explored, fostering international connections between students and teachers for the upskilling of their digital competencies.
The VR Online Module was also showcased during the event, to provide a simple yet powerful tool that will ensure another level of interaction for the students and their prototypes development during their training.
The event was a celebration of collaboration and creativity, as the participants’ dedication was evident in their contributions to represent our cultural heritage, with all the enthusiasm and effort promoted in the presented works.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic event, both in person and online, which reinforced our commitment to the future of DCbox.
