Dear colleague,
I am pleased to send you the first newsletter of the DCBox (Digital Curator Box), a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The project has been created with the goal of bringing university students closer to the professional figure of the "digital curator", increasingly widespread and required by museums and other bodies involved in the conservation of cultural heritage.
During the first year of the project we have worked on the preparation of high-level training modules, which will finally be launched in a month by the 4 academic partners of the project (University of Marche, The Cyprus Institute, University of Cordoba, University Lusofona). At the end of the training course, the involved students will engage in a set of activities (3D reconstructions, augmented reality, digitization of archives, etc.) in close collaboration with some cultural institutions in all the project countries.
You can find all the information about Dcbox and access the training modules (see “learn with us”) here: https://www.dcbox.eu/
In addition to this, we have planned to send 3 newsletters with some updates on project progresses and results to a European network of stakeholders. You can find the newsletter #1 attached.
I thought that you and your Institution might be interested to join this network of stakeholders on the basis of your interest and activities.
In case you do not want to receive these newsletters, please let me know and I will remove your address from our mailing list.
Thank you! |
